Seven Days of Prayer - Seven Stages of Human Development

Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Seven Days of Living

Each day of the week offers us an opportunity to consider a different stage or phase of human development. As the weeks go by this pattern will develop into a cycle of human being from beginning to ending and round again. Each day relates to one day in the story of creation as recorded in the first chapters of Genesis and a poem reflecting on these words and this theme written by Duncan Tuck called Seven Days of Living. During the course of the year you might like to extend the variety of the theme by using different translations of the Genesis passage, or alternating reading the Bible verses one week with reading the verses of the poem the next week. Other suggestions are provided under the heading 'Link' for each day. There are many ways of reflecting of the theme for the day and those listed are not meant to suggest them all, or all be done everyday.

Prayers for the seven days are by Bob Warwicker, and more can be found here.
